Pranayama – Nadi Shodhana – Alternate Nostril Breathing (6 mins)
Nadi meaning “channel” and shodhana means “purification.” So practicing Nadi shodhana encourages the purifying of the subtle body energy channels, while balancing our masculine (solar-pingala) and feminine (lunar-ida) aspects. Here are some benefits of this beautiful calming practice:
- Increases the body with oxygen and balances respiratory channels/issues
- Clears and releases toxins, reduces stress and anxiety
- Calms and rejuvenates the nervous system, helps to balance hormones
- Enhances concentration and mental clarity
- Brings balance to the left and right hemispheres of the brain
Yin Yoga – Restful Yin 56 min practice.
- A gentle practice to calm and relax your mind and body.
- Enjoy the seated Zazen meditation to encourage a stillness of mind.
- Resting in neutral between poses to tune into the body and experience the shift in chi from that after effects of the pose.
