Terms of Service 

REGISTER

When you register on our website, your personal information will be stored in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time – as can the website administrators. Once you register and create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which can be used to populate the checkout for future bookings. 

LOG-IN

By default, WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. When you visit the log-in page, a temporary cookie can determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, cookies will save your login information and your screen display choices.

PURCHASES / BOOKINGS

When making a booking on our site, we will ask you to log-in and provide information including your name, email address, phone number, credit card / payment details. 

This information can be used to: 

  • Send you information about your account and booking
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our website

PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments are accepted through Paypal and Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. More information: Stripe Privacy Policy.

CANCELLATIONS

If a LIVE class is cancelled by the instructor – this might be for reasons such as sickness, technical issues, holidays or public holidays – Members will be provided with access to a class replay. If a customer wishes to postpone a private yoga session, we ask you do so more than 24 hours in advance and arrange the new date within 15 days.

HEALTH INFORMATION

We may collect some additional personal information from customers – usually via a health consultation form – which is completed at the time of registration and booking. This information is collected for legal and insurance purposes, in order to provide you with a service and correct care. We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are sufficiently fit, physically, mentally and emotionally, to undertake all components of the class, workshop, course or service. You know of no reason why you should not participate in any form of physical exercise. Within the last six months no medical practitioner has advised you that you should not perform any physical activity.  It is your responsibility to notify us of any pre-existing medical conditions in the Health Screen Form provided at registration, as well as any special assistance you may reasonably require prior to enrolment or before commencing any of the exercises contained within the class, workshop, course or service, and again if circumstances change throughout the period you are undertaking services with us. 

You understand that undertaking our services involves exercise and that the body’s reaction to exercise cannot always be predicted with accuracy. Furthermore, you acknowledge that there are risks involved in performing physical activity including but not limited to musculoskeletal strains, pain and injury, and that certain abnormal changes may occur during or following exercise which may adversely affect blood pressure, cause heart attack or even death.  It is your responsibility that in the event of any condition which may affect your practice, you will seek advice from your medical practitioner and inform us of the advice, and that all new conditions or health issues should be discussed with us prior to any practice. We shall not be liable for any injuries suffered, special or consequential damages that result from your participation in the classes, workshops, courses or services, events and activities offered on or through this site. It is your responsibility to practise safely and not put yourself or others at risk whilst practising. By taking part in our classes, you agree that these terms are subject to English Law and English Court Jurisdiction. 

IMAGERY

All online Zoom classes are recorded. Wherever possible we will ask your permission before taking photos or videos at our events, classes, courses and workshops used for promotional and marketing purposes. It is your responsibility to inform us if you do not wish to be included in these pictures, video or audio for promotional and marketing purposes. 

COPYRIGHT 

The entire content, organisation, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion, printed and other materials related to our services, events and activities are the property of Zanna Yoga.

The owners of this website cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website. E-NEWSLETTERS  

If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, we use Convertkit to collect your data for the purposes of sending you email newsletters. All emails and newsletters from our site allow you to opt out of further mailings. SOCIAL MEDIA

Communication, engagement and actions taken by users and the owners of this site, on external social media platforms, are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively. We advise users to communicate via social media platforms with due care and caution in regard to your own privacy and personal details. This website nor its owners will ever ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact us through primary communication channels such as by telephone or email.

This website may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account.

This website and its owners, may use any information submitted to provide you with further information about the products / services they offer, or to assist you in answering any questions or queries you may have submitted. Messages sent via the Contact Form, may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Information from individual users is collected via the Contact form on our website, which is hosted on a secure server. 

THIRD PARTIES 

We do not receive data from third parties and we will never sell, trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company, organisation or third party. In the unlikely event of a breach, we will contact any affected users within 48 hours via email. 

DATA REQUEST 

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can request that we delete any personal data we hold about you – this does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
